I feel like as a gluten-free person who loves eating, I waste so much money each year trying and buying products that are underwhelming or just straight up woofy. I have been prepping myself for weeks to hit the vendor fair at the expo, where there will be table after table of gluten-free business owners ready to shove their breads, snack and yummies down my gullet. Bring it onnn.
I'm also looking forward to the classes. I am no supremo chef, but the cooking classes look like they will cater to (no pun intended) many different skill levels. There's a glisten of hope in my heart that the pie curst class is going to bring me back to my pie baking prime. I'm also eager to attend the class on traveling and eating out gluten-free - something that requires so much more prep and planning than any time we ventured out in our "former life."
This is my life now. Getting intensely excited about food allery expos on the weekend. I'm more than fine with it.
You can buy tickets to the gluten free expo online or at the door this weekend. The event runs Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 4pm at the Westin Park Central in Dallas.
I will be working by the classrooms and volunteer hospitality room. Hope to see you there!
